Tulips: Walk in my garden

Cards for Mom

My mom asked me to make her some thank you, birthday, thinking of you cards, etc. so, I sat down yesterday and made these. Some of them are DCWV pre-made cards that I've had FOREVER.  I also used some scraps that were sitting on my craft table. I don't remember all the cuts I used, as I write this post, but if you see something you'd like to know about just leave a comment and I'll look it up. The stamped girl images were given to me by a Pocket Letter Pal. I used my Copic markers.

Cricut Design Space - Botanical Cards "Happy Easter"

The Cricut Design Space offers so many single and multi layered cards. Here's one I found on Botanical Cards. I added a little dimension to it and made it into an Easter Card.

Here's how I made it:
Note: the Botanical Cards come with the card base layer, the floral layer and the envelope.

I cut the floral layer out 3 times. One in green, one in lavender and one in white.
I used the green as the base. I cut the top flower and the bottom flower in white, inked the edges with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink and glued that onto the green layer. Then I cut the 3 purple flowers from the purple layer and popped up the top and bottom but glued the middle one directly onto the green. I cut out the little bud in purple as well.
Then to add a little bit more color I used some Nuvo drops in yellow.
I thought it needed a little bit more so I pulled out my white gel pen and added that around the middle of the flower (this was not done on the video).

The stamp camp from Lawn Fawn. It's called "Happy Everything"

Here's the youtube video if you'd like to see it how I made it:

If the card design has a sentiment on the inside the picture will be included. If it does not and you'd like one I can personal it for you free of charge.

Thanks so much!

My girlfriend (of almost 40 years) is having a birthday this month. I wanted to make her a special card so decided to do one of Lori Whitlock's box card. It's not hard, honest but if you watch the video
(click on the link here: you'll see I struggled with the insert...again. It's me not the card design. Follow my written instructions about the insert in that you want to put the insert in first then add the little decorative cuts.
