Scrapbook Layout - Surgery

I'm working on my 2014 scrapbook album. Now, I've given myself a challenge. Do the entire year in one scrapbook. My 2013 album ended up being two...albums. I'm going to be a bit more choosy on what a scrapbook, i.e.,every random thing that happens...lol..versus events that are more meaningful plus really looking through the photos and using less of them without feeling like I'm giving up on how I want the layout to look. Can you relate?

Now, this isn't the best photo, I know, but hopefully you see the design layout clearly.

Just-A-Scrappin Design Team Weekly Challenge - Use Holiday colors; red, blue, green, gold and silver.

For the Just-A-Scrappin Design Team Weekly Challenge I've made a card holder using a 12 x 24 paper pad from DCWV.

We have a tradition in my family to put our cards on the back of our front door. I came up with this idea of making a big tree and putting clothes pins on it to hold the cards. Well, great idea but, duh Kim, you put the cards on and the tree gets covered up. Anyway...

Here's a video on how I made it:

Feminine Birthday Card - Make a Wish

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share this birthday card I made for my friend, Kate's, grandma. It's a simple design and yet it turns out so cute.

The video here below gives you all the info on how I made it. If you'd like to subscribe to my youtube channel that would be great! www.youtube.com/sunshinecreation

Cute Snowman Treat Box

My friend, Kate (she's a second grade teacher), asked if I'd make 35 snowman treat boxes for her class party. I found this one in the Silhouette Library. The designer's name is Nilmara Quintela and it's image #69751. It's super easy to make!

Materials used:
Box: White Colorbok (Walmart) paper
Black buttons and shadow of face: Black Colorbok
Carrot nose: DCWV
Scarf: scraps
Inside I put a cellophane bag full of marshmallows, a package of hot chocolate and a candy cane.

Here's how I made it.

Cardz TV Cards Design Team - Let It Snow

Hey all! Well, it didn't snow here in Central California but we got 2 days and almost 2 inches of well needed rain.

For the Cardz TV Cards Design www.cardztv.blogspot.com team challenge we made a card with the theme "Let It Snow". I used the "Tiny Tidings" (Revised) stamp set. It's so versatile! I'm going to be using these stamps on my 2014 Christmas Scrapbook Page(s) layout for sure!

I have to apologize for the quick and simple card. I've been out of my craft room for 10 days as I was visiting with my mom and am now trying to get caught up. I think the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge is perfect for this type of situation.

Here's how I made it, all the materials and measurements.
