I mentioned on my youtube video that I may be adding more to the card. If you'd like to see how it was created you can watch it on

Simple Cards Cricut Cartridge Episode 1 - Cards 1 & 2

Hello fellow bloggers! I bought the Simple Cards Cricut cartridge a month or so ago and decided to dust it off and try it out. I searched youtube to see of there were any tutorials out there but couldn't find any so, I thought I'd go ahead and do one myself I started a few weeks ago but am now just getting around to blogging them.
I really like the base of the card designs. I've have added some embellishments just to give them a bit more character.
I gifted the first two cards to friends, before I took pictures, so I'm uploading the video. The others will show the pictures.
Thanks all so much and have a sun shiny day!

Is there any body out there?

Hello fellow bloggers! I wonder if my blog followers are still getting my posts? I ask that because there aren't any comments but I'll keep creating and hope that they inspire you! Please feel free to leave a comment or ask questions on anything you see.

Trinket Box Antique Purse

This was a fun project to do. I used acrylic paint giving it texture with a sponge, lace trim, bling and flowers. To hear/see a better description on how it was made visit
The wood box was purchased at Michael's Craft Store. I used  bright pink, light pink and brown acrylic paint on the side, bottom applying it with a sponge brush and sponge. Using score tape on the edge of the front of the box I applied the lace trim. The K & Co. paper was applied with Tombo glue. I then added the Recollections bling, flower and Prima flower as well. Once it was all put together I inked the edges with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.

Here's another sandal trinket box I've made. This one took a bit longer to make. If you'd like to see how I did it you can watch it on

I used Teresa Collins craft tape that I got from Just a side note about Peachy Cheap. I can't remember where I first saw this website but I went on to their Facebook Page and liked them so their daily deals (Scrapbook Daily Deals) would pop up on my FB page. I have got so many great deals it's phenomenal. Now, back to these sandals. I added a strip of pink bling and this really cute pink sparly ribbon. I used score tape to apply the ribbon. Too much fun I tell 'ya!

Sandal Trinket Box - Flowers and Bling

Last month, I visited my Grandma for her 97th birthday. I stopped in at Michael's up in Northern California and in a cart they had two huge bags labeled "$2.00 Grab Bag". You couldn't see what was inside but's Michael's products and I know I will be able to use what was inside. I got a tone of stuff! If you want to see it all watch my video on youtube "Mega Michaels hall" Anyway, I got 25 or so of these adorable sandal boxes! I am having so much fun creating them and have a bunch of ideas too!
So, here is the one I did with Flowers and Bling.
The box size is 1 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches long. I used acrylic paint and Martha Stewart fine glitter then added the Recollections bling flowers. Sigh...oh so cute.

Just-A-Scrappin Design Team Challenge #1 - Celebrate Graduation

Hello everyone! I had to step out off the design team for a few months but am back and excited to be able to re-enter the bloggin' world!
For this week's challenge I made a card with my son's school colors blue and gold...well, just the blue but I liked using the foil paper so much I wanted to share it with you. Embossing and inking on foil paper really makes a beautiful card.

Card stock: Navy blue (110 lb) textured card stock. I had bought this last year via a website on the internet for Bar Mitsvah invitations I did for a customer. Sorry, I don't remember which website. cut 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Opens vertically.
Layer: This is foil paper that I bought 2 years ago at Michaels and was finally able to put it to good use.
Embossing: I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder then with a fingertip dobber I inked the leaves (Tim Holtz peeled paint) and the round part (Tim Holtz - broken china)
Sentiment: Hero Arts "Congrats Grad" stamp.

Father's Day Cards

Here is an advertisement video I created and posted on youtube. I'm very excited that my cards are for sale at Bob's Print and Mail Center. If you have any questions on how I've created these just let me know.
Thanks so much and have a sun shiny day!

Yeah! I'm back into the bloggin' world!

I'm so happy to back to the bloggin' world! My oldest son is officially a college student, my youngest done with finals, my family back in their homes and summer has begun! The time away from crafting, card making, scrapbooking, etc. has really given me an appreciation of how important it is to be able to do something for "yourself". Don't you agree?
Thank you all for bloggin' with me! I'll be starting my series (mentioned in a previous blog) next week. I had to get my craft room back in was playing the role of a guest room for 2 weeks.
Hugs to you all!
