"Mini Scrapbook Album" - a la Paula Dean Design

I envy the women that create the most beautiful and elaborately decorated mini albums. I tend to create mine in a simple manner. I used lots of Spring colors in this one. Hope you enjoy!

Have a Sun Shiny Day!

Spring, Cards, Crafts and Decorations Series Episode 4 - "Thinking of You"

Here is a Thinking of You card using a few of those spring colors I was talking about. Also, I love finding great bargains like these adorable yellow flowers.

I hope you're having a Sun Shiny Day and thanks for stopping by!

Spring Cards, Crafts and Decorations Series Episode 3 - "Thank You Tag"

Tags are so fun to create! You can give a friend a tag instead of a card and they can use it as a bookmark, decorative refrigerator magnet or to re-gift it to one of their friends. It's a blast.

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Cards, Crafts and Decorations Series Episode 2 - "Boy Bunny"

Pink or Blue bunnies? Doesn't really matter they are both so adorable. Here is the "boy" version of the basket.
This video is a bit long but sometimes figuring out how all the layers go together can be challenging, right? Hopefully, this will help you if this is something you're struggling with.

Thank you for stopping by!

Spring Cards, Crafts and Decoration Series Episode 1 "Easter Baskets"

Crafting for Spring is one of my favorite seasons. The colors are bright and cheerful and the possibilities of the crafts you can create are endless. Here is the first of the series I'm doing for Spring Cards, Crafts and Decorations.
I put 12 of the Easter Baskets in my store and they all sold within 2 days. Plus I have another order to fill that I'm working on today. They're just adorable...thanks to the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more 2 cartridge and Simply Charmed I was able to put this all together.
Thanks for watching and I hope you have a Sun Shiny Day!

#152 Luck O' The Irish - Fantabulous Design Team Challenge

Here is my first project for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Design Team. #152 Luck O' The Irish. I've made a St. Patrick's Day treat box that I think you all will enjoy. It's super easy and so cute.

Cricut Cartridge(s):
Plantin Schoolbook
Simply Charmed
Designer's Calendar

Colorbok White card stock (Walmart)
Coordinations green glitter card stock (JoAnns)
Coordinations orange, black, green, yellow card stock
Design Studio plaid stamp
StazOn Forest Green ink
Inkadinkado blending chalk
Party City Celephane Party bags
Party City Gold Chocolate

How to do the Cricut cuts:
Leprechaun 1: Cut at 3 inches using Simply Charmed (pg.32).
Box: Cut at 10 inches using Plantin Schoolbook (pg. 80) tall ball feature.
4 leaf clover: Cut at 1 inch using Designer's Calendar (pg.30) shadow feature.

Just A Few Notes:
Stamp the front of the box before you put it together.
Use ScorTape instead of glue.
I bought a bag of chocolate coins at Party City ($1.00 each) and put it in a celephane bag then inside the treat box. Oh, I also snuck in a few Girl Scout Cookies.

Thank you all for stopping by and if you have any other questions just leave a comment and I'll get back to you!

Just-A-Scrappin Design Team Challenge - Sew & Stitch

My card for the Just-A-Scrappin Design team challenge this week was one that I had made last year for Mother's Day. I had just bought my Sew Easy from HSN and had to try it. This stitch is a simple one but it looks so cute on the card. I do have a sewing maching but it's busy collecting dust under my desk right now. My mom gave it to me years ago and I just haven't taken the time to get it out and figure out how it works. Some day...

Bazzill Gold card stock .
Layer 1 ~ K & Co. (Susan Winget design) paper pack
Recollections ~ Mum
Recollections ~ button brad
Shrinky Dink with Hero Arts "Happy Mother's Day" stamp
Sew Easy ~ with gold thread
Martha Stewart ~ punch
Fiskars Scallop Punch
StazOn Black ink

How to:
Cut the card base at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
K & Co. layer 1 5 1/4 x 4
Cut a 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 of paper from the back side of K&Co.
Use the Martha Stewart punch only on one side
Use th Sew Easy to stitch and sew all the way across.
Use the 1 inch Fiskars scallop punch on a piece of shrinky dink. Stamp the sentiment, punch a small hole at the top and use your heat embosser to shrink it down. Insert the brad.
Use ScorTape to adhere the flower.

My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #89 - Tasty Treats

My Craft Spot has a challenge today that I think this card might be a good one. So, here it is.

Colorbok card stock (Walmart) for the card base and the white (Layer 3)
DCWV Sweet Treats (Stripped Layer 1)
DCWV Shimmer (Pink Layer 2)
Fiskars 2 inch scallop punch
Quick Cards Birthday Cake and Happy Birthday stamp
Ribbon (from Remember When Scrapbook)
Pearl Pens
Momento Black Ink
Momento Pink Ink
EK Success Scallop punch
Gelly Roll pens

How to:
The card base was cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
The stripped layer was cut at 5 x 3 3/4
The pink shimmer paper (layer 2) was cut at 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
The white (layer 3) was cut at 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.
I place a border from the scallop punch near the bottom cut at 1 inch by 5 1/2.
On top of that layer I place the pink and green ribbon.
I then stamped the cake and colored it with Gelly Roll pens (white, orange, green, pink)
I stamped the senitment on a scallop punch and inked the edges then coloring in the words with the gelly roll pen.
The last addition was using a pink frost Pearl pen and putting a dot on each corner of the white paper. Keep in mind this takes a while to dry.

Thanks so much for stopping by. If you have any questions just leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
