Thank You Card - Sunflowers
Hey all you creative types! I made a thank you card for the wonderful lady who just cut my hair. Her salon was decorated all in sunflowers. First, thank you to Momo for giving me the inspiration for this card. I did create this card a little differently than hers but sure like the way her design is as well.

Cricut cartridge: Walk In My Garden (Love, love this cartridge). The sunflower is on page 100 of the manual. I cut the border out at 3 inches in green. Then I cut the shift border in yellow then in brown also at 3 inches. You have to cut this out once in yellow then once in brown.
Cardstock: Yellow. I bought this at Michaels Craft Store. I cut it at 5 1/2 x 4.
Pattern Card Stock: June Bug Paper Pad 6 x 6. Cut at 5 1/4 x 3 3/4.
Brown Ribbon: Essentials (Walmart). The piece is 8 inches plus the knot.
Inside sentimanet: Walk In My Garden. "Thanks A Bunch" is on page 124. I cut this out at 3/4 inches.
Sunflower stamp: I stamped inside the card and also on the envelope. On the envelope I colored in the pedals with my yellow Martha Stewart glitter pen.
Hope you all have a sun shiny day!

Happy Halloween - Episode 3 Happy Halloween Pumpkin.
Hello and thank you for visiting today! I've made a Halloween Card using the stamps I bought from Michelle at Avocadoarts.com and wanted to share it with you. I absolutely love these stamps. There are so many things you can do with them plus you can become a member of their stamps of the month club! I highly recommend it.
Here are the instructions for this card:
White 110 lb white card stock cut at 5 1/2 x 4 and a 1 inch strip.
Orange Bazill card stock cut at 5 1/2 x 3.
Black glitter paper cut at 5 1/2 by 1 3/4.
K & Co purple paper cut at 5 1/2 x 1.
I used scissors with a jagged edge for the 1 inch white card stock strip and black versa ink to edge it. I punched the edges of the black glitter paper with EK success punch.
I used the Avocado Arts stamps pumpkin and it's stem plus the Happy Halloween stamp (using black, lavendar and orange).
For the final touches, I used green smooch for the stem, clear gelly roll to color in the pumpkin and a while uniball pen for the faux stictching at the top of the card.
Thanks and have a sun shiny day!

Happy Halloween - Episode 2 Ghostly Ghost Card

Here's a new design I've created for a Halloween card. It's called Ghostly Ghost. I used the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge, Sew Easy, white card stock (ghost & BOO -phase layer 1), orange card stock and black and white polkadot card stock that I purchased as part of a package from Michael's. The card is a standard size A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), black and white polkadot is 4  x 5 1/4). The Ghost is on page 37 of the manual cut out at 3.0 inches both the black underlayer and white. I distressed the edges with black Versa Mark and popped it up with dimensionals. The word "BOO" is on page 38. I cut it out at 3.5 both the phrase layer 1 and shift layer. Using the Versa Mark black ink I finished it the card by distressing the edges. The added touch is the orange Sew Easy thread.
If you're interested in purchasing this card please contact me on my website http://www.cardcreationsbykim.com/. I have 4 in stock.
Thank you for visiting!
My best,
Kim
